The Next Generation
The Next Generation

Leading and guiding the next generation is not only about sharing the gospel with them but it is sharing our lives with them. New Hope Church’s Youth Ministry includes a youth group (aka Impact) encourages and walks alongside youth and their families encouraging them in their relationships with Jesus, themselves, others, and the rest of creation. Group leaders pray and intercede for our youth and their families; continually seek out opportunities to build stronger relations with youth to encourage and guide them as they try to live out their faith. Group leaders help to support the spiritual and physical needs of the youth in our church and our community.

When Does the Youth Group Meet?
When Does the Youth Group Meet?

The youth group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from September to July. The flow of the group involves leaders and youth sharing a meal together before doing a bible study followed by various activities (games, STEM projects, cooking, entrepreneur classes, or crafts.) New Hope Church uses every opportunity to build fellowship among the youth and build stronger intergenerational relationships within the church. These opportunities range from the youth doing serving projects together to taking trips together to having fun together. Background checks are run on all adults working with the youth.

Requirement
Requirement

The youth group does have one requirement for youth to participate in the group. Youth have to meet in order to participate in the group. Youth must regularly attend Sunday church services. A youth group can never replace what a church family can provide to youth and their families. This requirement is to help youth get connected to a church family whether it’s the New Hope Church family or another local church family.
